In August, 1993 Towne Laboratories' management sold the company to Dr. Hercharan S. Dhillon, the company's production manager.
Dr. Dhillon Changed the company's name to TOWNE TECHNOLOGIES, INC. He reduced overhead cost by consolidating both Somerville, NJ facilities into the larger of the two buildings. The transition from Towne Labs to Towne Technologies was seamless, and production continued without a hitch. Even the phone and Fax numbers remained the same.
